Join Dayton Ballet for this nature-inspired production of the classic fairytale, lovingly retooled by Artistic Director Karen Russo Burke and set to Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score. An enduring favorite in the repertoire, Russo Burke's new libretto, and choreography add a fresh veneer to the story, following our heroine Briar Rose as she falls under a terrible slumbering curse, and the valiant efforts of the good fairies who battle to save her from the evil Cinereous so she can wake from true love's kiss.
Journey through glorious gardens and frightening forests, and discover the story of Sleeping Beauty anew in this exciting and updated spectacular - one all the family will adore!
