Tribute to a Pop Master

Burt Bacharach has written so many timeless songs it's hard to know where to begin. Together with lyricist Hal David, Bacharach provided the likes of Dusty Springfield and Dionne Warwick with many of their signature hits, and his jazzy, fuglehorn-heavy arrangements became known as the 'Bacharach sound'. He's also an accomplished performer in his own right, and is still occasionally playing live.

Expect to hear many of his classic tunes at this Mead Theater tribute concert, including 'I Say A Little Prayer', Walk On By', 'The Look of Love', '(They Long to Be) Close To You', 'What's new Pussycat?', and 'Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head.
